Drugs education

• In the academic year 2008-09, 42,045 children participated in our unique school educational programmes.
• The schools outreach team visited 79 schools and youth organisations across 17 boroughs of London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
• Schools workers also visited schools in North Yorkshire, Northampton and Wales.

Crisis support line

• We currently answer in excess of 500 calls a year to the crisis line, from drug and alcohol users, families and affected others.
• The service is also provided in Gujarati, Bengali, Urdu, Hebrew and Yiddish.

Volunteering

• 33 volunteers are trained in basic listening and counselling skills, and respond to telephone calls and see drop-in clients.
