During questions to the Prime Minister in the House of Commons this week Conservative MP Lee Scott raised Drugsline and its "excellent work" asked the Prime Minister to encourage its work and the new pilot scheme involving Jewish and Muslim communities. In response Blair congratulated Drugsline on its work and said "long may it continue".

Lee Scott MP (Conservative, Ilford North): What encouragement will the Prime Minister give to the Ilford, North and Redbridge-based Drugsline Chabad on its 15 years of excellent work in tackling the problems of drug and alcohol abuse? Will he congratulate it on its new pilot scheme involving the Jewish and Muslim communities, showing how that can benefit the entire community of London? Will the Prime Minister please encourage it?

The Prime Minister: I am happy to offer that encouragement and to congratulate it on its excellent work over 15 years; long may it continue.
