A Drugsline information stall located outside the Harrison and Gibson store in the pedestrianised shopping centre attracted interested passers-by and Drugsline volunteers spoke to them about our services and gave out pens and key-rings advertising the Crisis & Support Freephone number, 0808 1 606 606.

A Drugsline volunteer said, "some people may not identify with the campaign, but even if they do not, they might be able to pass our details onto someone who they know is affected by the problem and needs our help."

"Tackling Drugs Day" is a Home Office initiative to raise awareness of the drugs treatment services available across the country.
