Barclays Bank Support Drugsline

27th November 2006,

Drugsline has received a boost thanks to the support of Barclays Bank. We have been donated £1,000 to support our training of Outreach workers to continue our work in school across the area.

Rabbi Sufrin, Director of Drugsline said, "We are so grateful to Barclays for their support, and we think it is amazing that Barclays has such a strong community programme where organisations like ours can benefit a great deal. This donation will enable us to continue to train our outreach workers and make sure we have a huge impact on the people that access our services."

Peter Sandell, from Barclays Business Banking added, "This is a great opportunity for Barclays to make a real and lasting difference by supporting Drugsline. We are committed to looking after local communities by supporting a broad range of causes and hope this money will give individuals and families the opportunity to receive the support they need as well as raising young people's awareness of the effects of drugs and alcohol".

The funds come from Barclays Community Investment Programme.
